Buyer’s Premium
Unless a specific auction states otherwise, a 15% buyer’s premium will be charged on all items and lots. Every bidder pays the same buyer’s premium and should bid accordingly. For example, if you bid $100 on an item at the auction you will be charged $115 for the item on your auction invoice.
How invoicing works
- Hammer (your winning bid) + 15% premium + Minnesota sales tax on (hammer + premium).
- Invoices go out by email, usually by noon the next business day after the auction closes.
- Pay online from My account → Invoices (Stripe Checkout), or pay cash or card at yard pickup. Credit cards accepted up to $5,000. No personal checks.
- No returns. A bid is a binding contract.
- Pickup deadline is posted on each auction. Missed pickup is abandoned; ownership reverts and funds are forfeited.
- Titled items: payment first, title transfer, then release.
